Graveside services for Barbara L. Jones, 78, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, at Forest Hill Cemetery. Born Oct. 21, 1923, in Chicago, she died Monday, Jan. 7, 2002, at her home. Inurnment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Jones was a homemaker. Barbara was a Cubs fan since 1927, former president of the Friends of the Glen Ellyn Library, former member of the Glen Ellyn Women's Book Club, the Glen Ellyn Junior Women's Club, Glen Ellyn Infant Welfare and the West Suburban Humane Society. She is survived by her beloved husband, Charles B. Jones of Wheaton; dear children, W. Bradford (Sandy) Jones of St. Charles, Barbara A. Jones of San Francisco, Calif., and Charles P. (Gail) Jones of Menomonee Falls, Wis.; and grandchildren, Amelia and Emerson. Memorial visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, at The Leonard Memorial Home, Ltd., 565 Duane St., Glen Ellyn. Memorials may be made to any Hospice or the Glen Ellyn Public Library, 400 Duane St., Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 or West Suburban Humane Society, 1901 Ogden Ave., Downers Grove, IL or Chicago Cubs, for a good center fielder, 1060 W.
