FRED ACKERMAN MONMOUTH — Fred Ackerman, 79, of Biggsville, died Monday at 4 a.m. in Bradenton. Fla., where he had been on vacation since November. Funeral services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at Turnbull Funeral Home, where friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Center Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Ackerman was born Oct. 3, 1879, in Kirkwood. He was married to Mary Adair "in 1904. She preceded him in death in 1910. His second marriage was to Marjorie McKeown in 1912. She died in 1942. In 1943, he was married to Mary Morris. She survives, as does a daughter, Mrs.Elizabeth Willits, of Fort Madison, Iowa.
