Karan Gilbert Price, son of Gilbert and Erma Lee Price, was born at Masonic Hospital, Cherokee, Oklahoma, on December 2, 1938. He departed this life at the home of his parents near Lambert, Oklahoma, on March 7, 1939. His age at the time of death was three months and five days.

Karan was handicapped greatly by immaturity, yet he made a valiant fight for life, and during the three months sojourn in this world, he made considerable gains day by day. Tuesday morning he went to sleep, and according to our faith he sweetly sleeps in the arms of Jesus.

Besides a number of friends who had learned to know Karan during his three months of life, he is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Price of Lambert; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. M.H. Price, Cherokee, and Mr. and Mrs. A.B. Highfill, Lambert.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Bilby Funeral Home with W.A. Keller, Christian minister, officiating. Miss Audine Goss sang "The Little Pink Rose,: and "Jewells." Miss Frances Ellen Coppock, accompanist. Interment was in M.W.A cemetery.
