Services for Russell W. Hadl, 44, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Heartland Community Church. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Hadl died Sunday, April 15, 2001 at St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City, Mo.

He was born June 18, 1956, in Lawrence, the son of Richard W. and Vera L. (McCrary) Hadl.

Mr. Hadl was a master cabinetmaker in partnership with his father at Hadl Custom Cabinetry Inc., and assumed ownership in 1991 when his father retired. He was a member of Quails Unlimited and the National Kitchen and Bath Assn. He attended Heartland Community Church.

He married Cindy Sheaffer on Dec. 7, 1995, in Kansas City, Kan. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth S. Hadl, of the home; a son, Bryce R., of the home; his parents, Richard W. and Vera L. Hadl, Lawrence; three sisters, Peggy Shultz and Patti Hadl, both of Lawrence, and Donna Field, Baldwin.

The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
