Mrs. Branche, of Batavia, a physical education teacher for 12 years, was a daughter of Newman L. & Alta C. Howlett Hawks. Her husband, Clarence L. Branche, died in 1979.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Ardis R. (Jon) Wickens and Bonnie L. (James) Keady; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 2 sisters-in-law, Jennie Hawks and Louise Taylor.
