Her tiny hands touched many tender cords the short time she was given to her family. She leaves to mourn her going, her mother and father and one brother, Carmen. She also leaves her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Abernathy, and her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Virgie Craft of Wilson, Oklahoma, and other relatives who will miss her greatly.
Services were held Monday, October 6, 1947, from the First Baptist Church at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. H. W. Wrye officiating. Fatheree Funeral Home were in charge of the arrangements with interment in the Erick Cemetery.
Pall bearers were Darrell and Gail Gibson, Harold Davis and Neil Henry.
