OBITUARY
Bobby, little son of Cleve and Margaret Bierly, was born June 19, 1923 and passed away December 21, 1925, aged 2 years, 6months, and 2 days.

Bobby was of a dear, sweet disposition. His sunny little smile endeared him to all. Apparently always in the best of health, his illness and death came as a shock to many. On October 5th it was discovered that he was afflicted with diabetes. He suffered little but gradually grew weaker until the end came last Monday morning at 5:15 o'clock while he peacefully slept.

He leaves a father, mother, three sisters – Georgianna, Betty and Josephine and many other relatives and friends who will miss him more than words can express.

Just a wee bit of God's love,
Loaned, not given to keep.
-----
The family isn't able to express in works the feeling they have for those who were so good to Bobby during his illness and after.
-----
Out of town people who attended the funeral of Bobby Bierly were: Chas. Shields of Bremen; Mrs. Mary Bierly of Campbellstown; Mrs. Geo. Bernheisel and Etta Bierly of Dayton; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bierly of Eaton; Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Bell and Mr. and Mrs. Theo. Spitler of West Alexandria; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Early of Brookville.

Was Two and One-half Years Old; Funeral Services Held Wednesday Morning

Robert (Bobby) Bierly, two and one-half-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Cleve Bierly of this village, died early Monday morning, diabetes causing his death.

In October it became known that the child was affected with the disease and every effort was made to check it, but to no avail. Outwardly he did not begin to show signs of the effects of the disease until several weeks ago. From that time his decline was rapid.
Realizing that the child probably would not live until Christmas, is parents arranged his Christmas last week.

Funeral services were conducted in the United Brethren church yesterday morning with Rev. M. W. Mumma, the pastor, in charge. Burial was made in Roselawn cemetery.

Besides his parents, he is survived by three small sisters, Georganna, Beth Ellen and Josephine.
