Raymond Evans Lundy, age 71, of 199 Highland Drive, Eatonton, died Friday, January 13, 2006 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church in Eatonton on Monday, January 16 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Mike Willard officiating. Interment was held at Baldwin Memorial Gardens. The Baldwin County native was born September 29, 1934 to Elisha J. Lundy and Clemmie Johnson. He was married to Essie M. Prosser. He was a retired production manager for Horton Homes, he served in the Navy in Korea, he was a member of Harmony Baptist Church, and was a Mason and a Shriner. Survivors include: wife, Essie P. Lundy, Eatonton; sisters, Betty Ann Hardie of Jacksonville, FL and Jackie Dunn of Eatonton; grandchildren, Ray Lundy (Amanda) of Ashburn, Becky Lundy and Molly Lundy both of Monticello. Preceded in death by Ray Lundy, Jr.; Dwayne Lundy and E.J. Lundy, Jr. Pallbearers were: John Dempsey, Charles Lankford, Richard Hardie, Robbie Hardie, Randy Hardie and Ted Prosser.
