FORT WORTH, Texas — Services for Frank Kelley Dansby, 81, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5 at the First Baptist Church in Gallup. Pastor Jay McCollum will officiate. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.

A visitation will be held 4-7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 3 at Rollie Mortuary-Palm Chapel.

Mr. Dansby died Aug. 29 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born Nov. 25, 1918 in Kaufman County, Texas.

Mr. Dansby was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a WWII veteran. He received the Asiatic Pacific Campaign Ribbon with one bronze star, Good Conduct Medal, Victory Ribbon and two overseas bars. He was a member of the Masonic Lebanon Lodge #22. He owned and managed Kelley's Safety Lane and retired in 1986.

Survivors include wife, Christine Dansby of Fort Worth, Texas; son, Frank K. Dansby, Jr. of Fort Worth Texas; daughters, Diann Overman and Debby Schmaltz, both of Gallup, brother, David Dansby of Texarkana, Texas; sister, Helen Fulps of Combine, Texas; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Mr. Dansby was preceded in death by parents, George Dansby and Maymie Dansby; brothers, James Dansby and Kenneth Dansby; and sister, Doris Dudby.

Pallbearers will be Frank Kelley Dansby, III, Daron Overman, Derek Overman, Paul Overman, Jr., Robert Overman, Ryan Overman, Brandon Schmaltz, Michael Schmaltz and Justin Torrez.
