Double Pneumonia Proves Fatal tp

Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Tuesday at the Methodist church for Calvin B. Andrews, prominent Sayre citizen, who died in an Elk City hospital Sunday night from double pneumonia following an illness of four days.

Andrews is survived by his wife and mother, two sisters, Mrs. E. J. Nemeyer, Chandler, Mrs. J. J. Rife; and two nieces, Allene and June Rife.

Andrews was born August 21, 1897 in Hardin county, Iowa. He moved to Oklahoma in 1908 and has lived on a farm north of Sayre since 1914. He married Louise McLean in 1932 and was a member of the Masonic lodge.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. T. J. Means, pastor of the Presbyterian church, assisted Rev. R. B. Moreland, Methodist church pastor. Internment was made at the Sayre-Doxey cemetery with Moore funeral directors in charge.
