Age 86, formerly of Girard, daughter of the late Burt and Margaret Cornwell Adams. Babe graduated from Girard's Rice Avenue Union High School in 1937 and later worked as a telephone operator for the Girard Telephone Co. After raising her family, she then worked for Brookpark in Lake City until her retirement in 1985. During her retirement years she was self employed where she made and sold crafts. She was a member of the Girard United Methodist Church, also the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #22 and was a well known seamstress.

She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth J. Bendure in 1973 and whom she married May 29, 1942 in Girard also by a son James "Jimmy" Bendure in 1955; a sister Maxine Petitt, a brother Bill Adams and a grandaughter Sharra Ouellette.

She is survived by two daughters Sally Ouellette of Oklahoma City, Okla., Peggie Wilkins (Don) of Pittsburgh; two sons John F. Bendure (Margie) of Spring, Texas., Thomas "Mike" Bendure (Denise) of Lake City; twelve grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
