Mr. Bloodworth a native and resident of Milledgeville was retired from Central State Hospital. He was an Army Veteran serving in the Korean War and was a member of Freedom Church. He was an avid hunter and talented musician and played with the Scoggins Hill Bluegrass Band.
Survivors include his wife Ann Bloodworth, his children; Ed Bloodworth and wife Donna, Shannon Bloodworth and wife Susan, Lisa Ivey and Tanya Bailey and husband Scott all of Milledgeville, brothers; Pierce Bloodworth, Raymond Bloodworth both of Milledgeville, a step-brother, Gather Lane of Warner Robins, sisters; Linda Tanner of Milledgeville, Louise Gremli of Marietta, a step sister, Mary L. Hitchcock of Milledgeville, 9 grandchildren, Todd Greene, Jr. Brittany Bloodworth, Forrest Bloodworth, Brandon Ivey, Shane Bloodworth, Alisa Ivey, Steven Bloodworth, Sara Bloodworth and Kayla Bloodworth.
