Stephanie Keikilani Lust, age 18, of rural Prospect, died late Friday evening, July 3, 2004, at the Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in southern Delaware County.
She was born Feb. 4, 1986, in Marion, to Steven M. and Geri L. (Lumpkins) Lust of Prospect.
Also surviving is her sister, Rachel L., at home; maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Lust Helen Lumpkins of Marion; paternal grandparents, Art Lust and Ruth Weeks of Plain City, Maxine and Ed Roberts of Marion; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Stephanie graduated from Pleasant High School Class of 2004 with honors. She received scholarships from OSU, the Smith Clinic and the Marion Community Foundation, Marion Area Auxiliary. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, member of the National Honor Society, was active with 4-H, volunteered at Marion General Hospital, had worked for Dr. Nowacki and had been involved with the school musicals at Pleasant.
Her plans for the fall were to attend OSU majoring in pharmacy. She loved being with her friends and going shopping.
