Mrs. Irene Sunday, age 87, of Rt. 3, DeFuniak Springs, died Thursday, July 19, 1973, in a local hospital. Survivors include her husband, C. F. Sunday of DeFuniak Springs, four daughters, Miss Ruby Sunday, Mrs. Ella Lou Gillis, and Mrs. Juanita Laird, all of DeFuniak Springs, Mrs. Hazel Owens of Brooksville, Florida, five sons, Rufus Sunday, Major Sunday, Ted Sunday, all of DeFuniak Springs, Louis Sunday of Zolfo Springs, Florida, Mr. Ray Sunday of Westville; two sisters, Mrs. Macie Truett of DeFuniak Springs, Mrs. Malenda Marlow of Panama City, one brother, Dave Redmon of DeFuniak Springs; 30 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.
Funeral services were held Saturday in the Cluster Springs Church with Rev. Aubrey Hobbs officiating. Burial followed in Cluster Springs Cemetery.
Comander Funeral Home directed.
