Daniel Wilson was born on November 6, 1745 in Townsend, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. His parents were James Wilson and Jane Bell from Tyrone, Ireland. Daniel married Abigail Morse (daughter of Thomas Morse and Mary Treadway) in 1768 in Keene, Cheshire County, New Hampshire. They had eleven children named Daniel, Hannah, James, John, John, Nabby, Josiah, Polly, Betsy, Samuel (twin), and Sally (twin; Mrs. Roswell Nims). Daniel was a farmer in Sullivan, Cheshire County, New Hampshire and fought in the Revolutionary War. Daniel died on November 13, 1815 in Sullivan.
