Graveside funeral services were held Monday at Denison Cemetery for John Willis McFarland, 75, who died at his home Friday. Rev. Odell Stuart served as the officiant. Services were under direction of Kennard Funeral Service.
John Willis McFarland was born April 29, 1917, in Broken Bow to Lougenia Nadine Watson and John Alexander McFarland. He attended schools in Idabel. He was married to Ann Mahon McFarland who preceded him in death in 1982. One daughter also preceded him in death.
He was an American Airlines mechanic who retired after 30 years of service. He was a member of U.A.W. Union.
He is survived by one sister, Marcella Young of Millerton.
