Jerrie was a very warm, loving person, who always had time for her children. She loved her grand-children dearly. She was an identical twin. She loved to fish. She had a great sense of humor, and loved to be around people. She was a nurse with a very kind heart. Jerrie was accidentally shot when she dropped the gun she was holding and it went off. Her family was saddened by her death, and miss her dearly. Mother of 2 children, Tonya and a son; Michael, who has also passed since.

Father-in-law:Napoleon B. Adaway
Mother-in-law:Daisy Lucille Mahon Adaway

I wish I knew more about Jerrie's family, but I only met them once, unfortunately, at her funeral. They seemed like very kind people who were heartbroken at her death. I hope they are doing well in the years that have passed.

I wish to thank my friend Jean who sponsored Jerrie's memorial page. I met Jean here on Find A Grave. She grew up with Jerrie and her family, and still lives in the same area. I have met so many kind people on this site, and I am so glad that I met them, and Jean, whom I feel like I have known all my life, almost like a sister.

I would like to thank "Birdlegs" for taking the photos of the headstone. I live so far away I would never have been able to take them myself. It was such a wonderful act of kindness from a stranger, which can never be repaid.

Thanks to Deb for the parental links.
