Hazel Iris Riley was the daughter of Hazel Iris Marsh & Charles William Riley. She first married Alivia Colfax Beane in 1953 in Hammond, Indiana and they had one daughter. She second married Harold Victor Scott and they had 8 children.

Funeral services for Hazel "Bee" Scott were conducted at 10 AM Friday, Mar. 22, 1991 at the Full Gospel Assembly. The Rev. Lloyd Hams conducted the services. Interment was in the Paul J. Wataha Memorial Park.
Pallbearers were V.G. Swiatek, Darwin Collins, James Scott, Sam Garcia, Darryl Wilfong, Mike Wright, Harold Scott Jr., and Jeff Rose.
Mrs. Scott, 55, of 2145 Century Blvd., Apt. 1, Rock Springs, died at 11:40 AM Tuesday, Mar. 19, 1991 at the Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County where she had been a patient since March 14th.
A resident of Rock Springs for the past 34 years, she was a former resident of Hammond, Indiana.
Mrs. Scott had been in ill health the past several years.
She was born Apr. 17, 1935 in Hammond, IN, the daughter of Charles & Hazel(Marsh)Riley. She attended school in Plainfield, IL and was married in Chicago to Harold Scott Sr. on Feb. 27, 1956.
Survivors include her husband, Harold V. Scott of Rock Springs; three sons, Harold Scott Jr. and his wife Peggy, James Scott and Dale Scott all of Rock Springs; four daughters, Ann Beane of Junction, IL, Denise Madison of Rock Springs, Mrs. Mitch(Lisa)Keith of Lowry, MO and Mrs. Jay(Tina)Stanton of Rock Springs; three brothers, Charles Riley & Jim Riley, both of Hammond, IN and John Riley of Milwaukee, WI; three sisters, Wanda Cavenaugh of Watseka, IL, Joyce Follis of Hammond, IN and Charlotte Ramirez of East Chicago, IN; 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by one brother, Wilber Riley, one sister, Shirley Riggs and one son, Christopher Allen Scott, who died in 1977.
