Floyd Lee Privett, 81, of 6996 South U.S. 421, Versailles, died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2006, at Silver Bell Nursing Center in Versailles.
He was born May 15, 1924, in McCreary County, Ky., the son of Tea and Pearlie Mae Ridener Privett. He was retired from Witt-Cornice Galvanizing Co. in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by one half-sister, Betty Lucas of Arlington, Va.; one half-brother, John Kroger of Rineyville, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Vada Garland.
There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
Vail-Holt Funeral Home Madison Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
