Dollie's Mother was Walter Albert Foster's 1st wife. Her name was Sarah Boggs.

Mrs. J. L. Brewer, 80 - Mrs. Dollie Foster Brewer, who with her husband operated a store at Mt. Pleasant southwest of Grant for 28 years, died in the Boaz-Albertville Hospital early Monday morning. She was 80. She had been in failing health for 2 years and in the Boaz Nursing Home a year. She had been bedfast since she broke her hip 9 months ago. Her husband, John Leslie Brewer, started their business with a rolling store. Later they had both it and a regular store, then they discontinued the rolling store and ran the other until they retired. He died in, 1960. Mrs. Brewer wrote the Mt. Pleasant news for The Advertiser-Gleam for many years. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She came to Mt. Pleasant as a child from the Susan Moore area of Blount County. She was a great-great-grandmother. She is survived by 3 daughters, Mrs. Flora Sims of near Guntersville Dam, Mrs. Ruby Chandler of Albertville and Mrs. Paula Cash of Atlanta; 6 sons, James Brewer of Mt. Pleasant, Harold Brewer of Warner Robins, Georgia, Leon Brewer of Birmingham, Kenneth Brewer of St. Louis, Donald Brewer of Maryland and Phillip Brewer of Mt. Pleasant; 28 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; 2 half sisters, Mrs. Beulah Dixon of Mt. Pleasant and Mrs. Pluma Rice of New Hope; and 3 half-brothers; Leamon Foster of Mt. Pleasant, Robert Foster of near Grant and Vernie Foster of Mt. Pleasant. The funeral was at Grant Church of Christ Wednesday with burial in Panquin Cemetery. Carr funeral home directed. Bro. Clayton Tuggle and Bro. Barnard Andrews officiating. 10 of her 11 grandsons were pallbearers. They were Joel Key, Aaron Brewer, Danny Brewer, Wendell Key, Michael Brewer, Roger Brewer, Stephen Brewer, Brian Brewer, Jerome Chafin and Dale Brewer.
