Heart attack is fatal to Mrs. Garner

Mrs. Eula Mae Garner died suddenly after suffering a heart attack at her residence June 10. Services were held June 13 from the First Baptist Church with Rev. John Green and Rev E. P. Burke officiating.

Interment was in the Gardens of Memory under the direction of Oliver Funeral Home.

Mrs. Gamer was born in Montgomery County, December 13, 1891, and on October 3, 1909, she married G. L. Garner, who survives. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Winona.

She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Milton Montague, Greenwood, Miss Allie Pearl Garner, Blytheville, Arkansas; four sons, Melvin Garner, Jacksonville, Florida. Emile Garner, Ruleville, Russell Garner, Greenwood, Thurman Garner, Belle Glade, Florida; one brother, J. Cleveland Cross, Winona; 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Active pallbearers were Lethau Cross, Dennis Cross, Ray Scott,Albert Cross, Barksdale Garner and Pleas Bond.
