Denver, Colo. - Former Duncan, Oklahoma resident JANIS YVONNE ATHERTON of Denver, Colorado, a devout Christian wife and mother, went home to Heaven on Thursday, January 19, 2006, in Denver.
A celebration of her life was held January 23 in Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, Aurora, Colorado. Interment was January 24 in Estes Valley Memorial Gardens, Estes Park, Colorado.
Survivors include her father, Clifford A. Cravens; her husband, former Duncan resident Robert A. Atherton; children, Randall A. Atherton and wife, Cheryl, Rodney C. Atherton and wife, Ellyn, Bradley A. Atherton and wife, Alicia, and William R. Atherton and wife, Tammy; siblings, Dana R. Pearis and Richard W. Cravens; and grandchildren, Jay Jones, Gregory, Joshua, Ian, Nicholas, Jonathan, Marlayna, Ashley, Andrew and Matthew Atherton.
