SOUTHBRIDGE - Claire F. Lapierre, 79, of Wingate of Wilbraham Nursing Home, formerly of Fiske Street, died Monday in Wing Memorial Hospital, Palmer.
Her husband, Albert M. Lapierre, died in 1975. She leaves a son; a sister, two grandsons. A son, Richard Lapierre of Southbridge, died in 1989. Her first husband, Hector Lapierre, died in combat in World War II. She was born in Southbridge, daughter of Adolphe and Cora (Rheaume) Cournoyer.
She was a member of Notre Dame Church.
The funeral will be held Thursday, Nov. 4 from Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Notre Dame Church, 446 Main St. Burial will be in New Notre Dame Cemetery. A calling hour will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 4 in the funeral home. Donations may be made o Multiple Sclerosis Society, 400 Totten Pond Road, Waltham, MA 02154.
