Pamela Stubbs, 1949-2012

Pamela Branson Stubbs, 62, of Ashland passed away Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012, at Boone Hospital Center.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 25, at Ashland Baptist Church.
Pamela was born Aug. 9, 1949, in Jefferson City, the daughter of Frank and Nellie Swim Branson. Pamela was a member of Ashland Baptist Church. She worked for many years at the University of Missouri.
Survivors include her father, Frank Branson of Ashland; her son, Thad Stubbs of Columbia; daughter-in-law Beth Stubbs of Columbia; her daughter, Courtney Swan and husband Ryan of Springfield; one brother, Rodney Branson of Ashland; two sisters, Cynthia Arendt and husband Bill of Columbia and Marsha Root of Blackwater; a sister-in-law, Tracy Branson; two grandchildren, Jackson Stubbs and Callum Swan; and three nephews, Nick Root and wife Mandy, Caid Branson and Chris Branson.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Nellie Branson; and her brother-in-law, Steve Root.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Missouri Baptist Children's Home or Columbia Second Chance, an animal rescue.
