She become a famous children's book writer, and in 1984, she was awarded with the Prémio Gulbenkian for her complete career. Among her books: "Faísca Conta a Sua História," "Grades Brancas," "Rio Sem Ponte," "A Flor Azul," "Ida e Volta," "Encontros no Outono," "A Visita do Padrinho" and "Um Artista Chamado Duque." She died in Porto, Portugal.
