KRUM — Ottis Long, 80, of Krum, a retired employee of the Denton Parks Department, died Monday, Jan. 2, 2006, in Denton.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6, at Chico Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
Survivors include his wife, Nell Long; two stepsons, Pete and Daryl Kelly; one stepdaughter, Benita Eberhart; one sister, Virginia Hunter; nine step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.

Born Sept. 2, 1925, in Chico, he was a retired rancher and employee of the City of Denton Parks Department. He was a member of Friendship Church in Denton.
He is survived by his wife, Nell Long; three stepchildren, Benita Eberhart and husband, Jim of Corinth, Pete Kelley and wife, Beth of Wiley and Daryl Kelley and wife, Michelle of Denton; a sister, Virginia Hunter; a sister-in-law, Marge Long Ellington; nine step-grandchildren; one step great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
