Shawn Christopher Barnett, 10 years of age of Summersville, Nicholas County, died Tuesday, May 31, 1988 in the C.A.M.C. General Division from Injuries he received in an automobile accident May 25 on Hwy. 41 near Summersville. He was the son of Ralph and Gloria Jean Hughes Barnett of Summersville and was born at Charleston, March 16, 1978. He was a fourth grade student at Nicholas Christian Academy in Summersville. He was a member of the elementary basketball team and chorus. He attended the B.Y.F. and Beulah Baptist Church at Muddlety. He was preceded in death by his brother, George Scott Barnett on May 25, 1988.
Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. in the Beulah Baptist Church at Muddlety with the Rev. Howard Harper officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnett Family Cemetery on Wolf Run in Braxton County.
