Mrs. Peter A. Campbell of 202 Hazen Street died suddenly early this morning after an operation at the City Hospital. She was 46 years old.
Mrs. Campbell had been in poor health for some time but was able to be up and her death was a shock to her friends all over the city.
Mrs. Campbell's maiden name was Miss Jennie S. Bush and she was born in Fabius, Onondaga County, New York. She was educated at the Cortland Normal School and was married to Mr. Campbell when she was 20 years old.
She came to Ithaca at that time and has since resided here. She was a member of the Baptist Church and of the Hawthorne Rebecca Lodge, No. 163, I.O.O.F. Surviving her are her husband and one son, Donald A. Campbell, and a daughter, Margaret A. Campbell.
The arrangements for the funeral have not yet been completed.
The store of J. Bool Co. of which Mr. Campbell is vice president, was closed today out of respect to Mrs. Campbell.

The funeral of Mrs. Peter Campbell will be held at 4 o'clock tomorrow afternoon from the residence, 202 Hazen Street. The Rev. R.T. Jones will officiate. Burial will be made in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
