MASTERS John C., 39, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2005 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born December 24, 1965 in Oklahoma City to Harold and Donna (Hines) Masters. He was united in marriage December 28, 1991 in Oklahoma City to Kim Atkinson. John was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Architecture. He played the trumpet for the Pride of Oklahoma marching band. John also enjoyed playing the guitar and piano. He was employed with JHBR Architects for 14 years before starting his own architectural partnership, MBPA Healthcare Architects. He loved a variety of sports; especially OU and Dallas Cowboy football. John was a great husband, father, and man of faith. He also had a great sense of humor. His family whom he loved very much will miss him deeply. John is survived by his wife, Kim Masters; one daughter, Madison Masters; two sons, Luke Masters and Evan Masters of the home; his mother, Donna Owens; one brother, Steve Masters and wife Karen of Keller, TX; one sister, Vicki McGinley and husband John of Moore; in-laws, Carlene and Charles Atkinson; brother-in-law, Charles Atkinson, Jr. and wife Jean of Nashville, TN; and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Bill and Ruth Masters. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the John Master's Memorial Support Trust, c/o First Bank & Trust of Norman, P O Box 721450, Norman, OK 73070. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 16, 2005 at Bethel Baptist Church in Norman with interment following in Resthaven Memory Gardens under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
