SERVICES SET FOR MRS. MYRTIE DEES
Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtie Dees, 93, of Christopher, will be at 2 p.m. today at the Gilbert Funeral Home, Christopher. The Rev. Marion Burzynski and the Rev. Gene Fox will officiate. Burial will be in the Harrison Cemetery, Christopher. Friends may call at the funeral home. Mrs. Dees died at 3:45 a.m. Thursday in Miners Hospital, Christopher, after a lengthy illness She was a member of the South Side Baptist Church Christopher. Mrs. Dees was born Nov. 22, 1877, in Clay County, the daughter of Calvin and Mary Rumley. Mrs. Dees is survived by her husband, Alva; a daughter, Mrs. Myrl Vanzandt of Christopher; a son, Jay of Decatur; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
