Elena enjoyed music, singing, and dancing. She loved being around her family.

Elena is predeceased by her parents, 3 children; Vicente Diaz, Arturo Diaz, and Corina Yucupicio and 3 grandchildren.

Elena is survived by her children Celia Nieto, Frank Diaz, Robert Galindo, Eva Nieto, Ofelia Nieto, Esther Ruiz, Irene Moon, Nellie Palacios, and Leo Galindo, 31 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren.
