Fourth and youngest child of Howard and Sandra Royers-Scheve. Brothers Robin and Todd, and sister Nanette Scheve-Hall all miss him very, very much, as do all of the family. The love he never recovered from losing was Maria McKinney. He succumbed to a moment of darkness at home, age 23 1/2 and committed suicide by taking all of his medications at once. I remember his last words to me as he was going to bed, "Good night, Mom. I love you." I know he and I loved each other deeply and we had a special bond that I still feel.
Howard was an extremely brilliant individual, and his talents ranged from computer to artistic skills. He loved animals of all kinds. He had great charm, and was known and loved by many people. Greatly missed by all, more than he could have ever known. If it is true that we will ever meet again, I anxiously look forward to being with him forever, and ending this terrible sorrow.
Howard is in Woodland Mausoleum in the Scheve section.

A Letter From Heaven

When tomorrow starts without me,
And I'm not here to see,
If the sun should rise and find your
Eyes, filled with tears for me.

I wish so much you wouldn't cry,
The way you did today,
While thinking of the many things,
We didn't get to say.

I know how much you love me,
As much as I love you,
And each time you think of me,
I know you'll miss me, too.

When tomorrow starts without me,
Don't think we're far apart,
For every time you think of me,
I'm right there in your heart
