Summerfield - Delma Lewis Brooks, 71, of Weirsdale, FL passed away on January 13, 2014 at Tuscany House in Summerfield.
Delma was born on August 22, 1942 in Blakley, GA to Edward and Elene (Cannon) Brooks. He was the owner of the landmark, Brooks Buck-N-Does in Umatilla, FL.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Merrell Books.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Martha Brooks; two sons, Delmer Lewis Brooks and Timothy Ennis Brooks and one daughter, Robin Dale Dees all of Weirsdale, FL; a brother, Harry Brooks; two sisters, Benita Adams and Donna Mathis; five grandchildren, Bradley, Joshua, Kristina, Aubrey, and Jacob, four step-grandchildren, Daniel, Ashley, Dakota, & Marilyn.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home, 9185 NE Jacksonville Road, Anthony, FL. Burial will be in Parkhill Cemetery, Columbus, GA.
