Ramiro D. Azevedo, 56, of Stevinson, died Sunday at Doctors Medical Center, Modesto.
lived in Stevinson seven years. He was a dairyman and a member of Our Lady of Fatima Society in Los Banos.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Azevedo of Stevinson; children, Manuel Azevedo, Ramiro Azevedo Jr., Maria Silva, Connie Azevedo, Rosa Sousa and Delfina Azevedo, all of Stevinson, and Elvira Azevedo of Massachusetts; brothers, Manuel Azevedo of the Azores and Joe Fragas of Dos Palos; sister, Maria Sousa of Dos Palos; and four grandchildren.
The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday at Hillview Funeral Chapel, Newman. A Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joachim's Catholic Church in Newman. Burial will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery, Stevinson. Visitation is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the chapel.
