THIS IS A MEMORIAL FOR ONE OF MY DEAR HAM RADIO FRIENDS.

Eddy GEHLEN was born September 14th.1940 in GERMANY.
For His DUTY Eddy joined the GERMAN NAVY around the year 1960 for a 2 years Service as Wireless Operator(SPARKS).
Eddy loved using the MORSE CODE that much that after He left the Navy He obtained for a HAM Radio Callsign.
He became the International CALLSIGN: DL6KBU.
Eddy joined as Member#350 the"MF RUNDE",a SOCIETY of Hamming,former Navy Operators from all over the World,but the majority from GERMANY.
Eddy was a very nice Guy with a big SMILE,He is sadly missed by His Family and His many HAM Radiofriends from all over the World,because He is now a "SILENT KEY",this is what Hams say when one of them dies.
Eddy died in His Hometown BONN in GERMANY September 1th.2005 and is buried on the Local Cemetery.
