Born June 3, 1899, in Dennings, she was a daughter of the late Jesse L. and Maggie Jane Haines Franklin. Mrs. Fogle was a housewife.
She was a member of St. James United Methodist Church, Dennings, where she had taught Sunday school. She enjoyed her garden, flowers and crocheting.
Surviving are one daughter, Margaret Byers of Waynesboro, Pa.; three grandchildren, Kenneth R. Byers, Timothy G. Byers and Debra Brown, all of Waynesboro; and two great-grandchildren, Sarah R. Byers and Teri E. Brown, both of Waynesboro. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, July 4, at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 5, at St. James United Methodist Church, 2900 Marston Road, Dennings, with the Rev. Larry Plymire of St. James U.M. Church, officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
