Michael E. Ball, 51, a life long Rushville resident, passed away December 4, 2013 in Indianapolis.

He was born November 29, 1962 in Rushville to Lowell Eugene "Jack" Ball & Janet (Proffitt) Moor. Mike was a US Army veteran, serving from 1980-1983.

Mike worked many years in construction. He was an avid fisherman & Nascar fan.

He is survived by a son, Casey Ball of Greensburg, brothers, Bobby & wife Barb Goins of Cape Coral, FL and Dave & wife Mary Ball of Shelbyville, sisters, Colleen Ball of Rushville, Penny Goins of Indianapolis, Jennifer & husband Travis Ervine of Rushville and Dedra & husband Ken Barrows of Metamora.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by a son, Dustin Michael Goddard.

Services will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, December 10 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville, where friends are welcome to visit from 4-8 PM on Monday evening, December 9.

Burial will be held in Rushville's East Hill Cemetery.

Military rites will be provided by the Rush County Veteran's Honor Guard.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation.
