Franklin I. Bollinger, 84, of Palmerton R.2. died Sunday in Palmerton Hospital. He was the husband of Irene (Keller) Bollinger. They observed their 61st wedding anniversary last April.
He was an electrician for the New Jersey Zinc Co.. Palmerton, for 39 years before retiring in 1965.
Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late Nathan and Alavesta (Diehl) Bollinger. He was a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Trachsville.
Surviving with his widow are a son Donald of Palmerton; a sister Jenny, wife of Guy Smith of Kunkletown; two brothers, John of Weatherly and Charles of Parryville; four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
