Maxine Bacon, 76, of Vicksburg, died at her home Nov. 5.
She was born Sept. 6, 1931, in St. Joseph, the daughter of Jay and Leona (Thomas) Eaton.
Bacon worked for 14 years for Allen Electric and for a short time at Lee Paper. She was an active member at the Schoolcraft Assembly of God.
Visitation was Thursday at the Life Story Funeral Homes, RDMG, Vicksburg, 409 S. Main St., where the funeral service was held Friday.
Members of her family include her husband of 60 years, Jim; her children, Elaine (John) Leitch, Rocky Bacon and Patricia (Walter) Dorey; 11 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Harold (Phyllis) Eaton, Joel (Charlene) Eaton, Richard (Margio) Kellogg, Angel (Barry) Bly, Valdrice (Bob) Carton, Douglas (Bonnie) Kellogg, Kathleen Simpson, Kathryn (Ray) Betz and Betty Kellogg; and numerous other relatives.
