Mrs. Bhansi was educated in the public schools of New York. She attended Effingham Baptist Church. She was married to Joseph Bhansi.
Survivors include her uncle, Prince (Minnie) Brooks; three goddaughters, Eauayjah Brooks, Neisha Brooks and Remell Lewis; six cousins, Clara (Legrant) Hennigan, Trula (Joseph) Brooks, Virginia Timmons, Addiefair (Zola) McMillan, OraLee (Vern) Brooks and Retha (Otis) Ross; two friends, Earl Jones and Hildra Nelson, a host of other cousins, relatives and friends.
Family visitation will be Thursday, March 25, 2005, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. today at J.O. and Annette Smith Memorial Chapel and other times at 1707 Dylan Road, Florence.
