Marshelle Marie (Bitler) Lorentz
LAKE WALES, FL: Mrs. Marshelle Lorentz of Lake Wales, Florida (born in 1955 and raised in Fremont, Ohio) went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 20, 2013, after a short battle with colon cancer. Complications from chemo therapy took her away from her loving family far too early. With the help of Hospice, she was able to pass away in her home surrounded by her precious husband of 24 years, her children, grandchildren, sisters and many friends.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Lorentz; three sons, Matthew, Nathan and Anthony Snyder; step-children, Kenan Lorentz, Becky Dymond, Rachel League; and 13 grandchildren; sisters, Claudia Reimer of Helena and Vickie Friar of Elmore.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Nighswander.
She and her husband retired to Florida in October of 2012 and she loved everything about her new place of residence. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, euchre league and held office on the Board of Education at her prior church in Elmore, Ohio. Her new church home is Grace Lutheran Church of Winter Haven, Florida.
Her final goal in life was to witness to those she loved and friends she met. She loved talking about what Christ had done in her life. As her life on this earth has come to a close, she has entered into the Gates of Glory to be with her Heavenly Father and those she loved that have gone before her.
Viewing will be Wednesday, October 23, 2013, from 12:00 noon until her funeral service begins at 2:00 P.M. at her home church, 327 Avenue C, SE, Winter Haven, with Pastor Charles Reich officiating. Interment and burial service will follow at Lake Wales Cemetery
Memorials of remembrance may be made to Cornerstone Hospice 2590 Havendale Boulevard Northwest, Winter Haven, FL 33881. "SHE WAS A
BLESSING TO MANY"
"GONE…BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN"
"REST IN PEACE"
John 3:16
" For God so loved the world that he give his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal Life"
