She was the oldest of three children born to Bessie and Grover B. Insprucker. She spent most of her life in Ohio, specifically Toledo. She married Renton Bernard Moore on August 10, 1931. They had an only child Judy Marie. She and her husband were both avid bridge players. They both became Life Masters and traveled playing in Bridge tournaments. After her husband died, she sold her house and moved to California to be near her daughter and grandchildren. Her last years were spent with her sister, nieces and nephews in Bradenton Florida where she passed.

Her sister, Edna, daughter Judy, two grandsons Mike and Todd, and many nieces and nephews survive her.

Her mother, husband and brother John preceded her in death.
