Mrs. Anne R. Adler Mrs. Anne R. Adler, 70, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 29, in the Del Sol Medical Center, El Paso, Tex. Born in Jim Thorpe, she was a daughter of the late George and Marjorie (Barrons) Poddo. She was a loan officer in banking. She was the number 1 Cowboys fan - she loved her Cowboys. The deceased was a life member of V.F.W. Auxiliary Post 1389 and a member of the American Legion. She also wrote the local newspaper column "The Happening" for V.F.W. Post 3317 each week. She had many cherished friends and loved living in New Mexico, the Land of Enchantment. Surviving are a son, William Adler, and his wife, Hilda, her "special daughter-in-law;" a daughter, Cyndi Lucas; a brother George, and his wife, Joan; two sisters, Margie Ruston and Maria Mongi; and many grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Trine. Service: Call 3-5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, in the chapel of Kirikos Family Funeral Home, 303 N. Cedar St., TorC, N.M., followed by prayer vigil at 7 p.m., Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Mass 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4, in the church with the Rev. Marcos Reyna officiating. Cremation will follow the service
