Patricia Felt, 76, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospital in Meridian due to complications from multiple sclerosis.

Pat was a native of Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School; she then attended the University of Idaho. While a student at University of Idaho, she was a member of the Delta Gamma Fraternity.

On Feb. 23, 1957, she married Laurence S. Bogert of Pocatello at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Idaho Falls.

Pat was widowed in 1970, and she later married Phillip Felt of Pocatello. They were later divorced, and Pat then resided in Boise.

Pat enjoyed a variety of careers, the highlight being one of the first women chosen by First Security Bank to complete a management training program for future executives. Pat was active in Idaho Republican Party politics and volunteered for the American Cancer Society and, in her earlier years, the Cub Scouts.

She was dedicated to her children and grandchildren and is survived by her son, Laurence Michael (Terri) Bogert of Boise; daughter, Bobbette Louise Bogert of Boise; daughter, Kellie Bogert (Fred) Drzayich of Eagle, Idaho; and son, William Scott Bogert of Boise. She had nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and to her delight she was referred to by them as "Mom Mom." Pat is also survived by her sisters, Maureen Sweeney Syring of Muncie, Ind., and Kathleen Sweeney Hayden of Twin Falls, Idaho (who is currently teaching elementary school in Kazakhstan); and her brother, David Mann Sweeney Jr. of Idaho Falls.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Laurence S. Bogert; father, David Mann Sweeney; and her mother, Kathleen Keener Isley.

Pat's family is grateful for the compassion of the caregivers at Valley View Care Center where she spent the last years of her life, in addition to the doctors and staff at St. Luke's Hospital and Accent Funeral Home.

Private family services were held Saturday, Sept. 28, at Holy Apostles Catholic Church with Reverend Dat Vu officiating. Services were under the direction of Accent Funeral Home in Meridian, Idaho.
