M. Joanne Hallmark of Springfield, who died Sept. 22, 2004, of cancer. She was 61. Joanne was born Jan. 22, 1943, in Springfield, to D.C. and Mary Warner. A lifelong Springfield resident, she worked for Whittier Wood Products for many years until her retirement in 2003. She enjoyed reading, writing, flower arranging and gardening. Survivors include a son, Kelly of Eugene; a sister, Jania Calvert of Eugene; and three grandchildren.
