Mrs. Machen died Tuesday, May 29, 1979 in Schumpert Medical Center, Shreveport, after a short illness.
Mrs. Machen was a member of the First Baptist Church and a native of Winn Parish.
Survivors include her husband, Ebb C. Machen of Winnfield; a daughter, Maude Dean Machen of Winnfield; a brother, Charlie Dean of Winnfield; two sisters, Mrs. Nena Cunningham of Goldonna and Mrs. Elvie Barnes of Lone Star, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Thomas Ray Straughan, Charles Bundrick, Ira Joe Key, Frank Machen, Paul Dean, Thomas Dean, and Dick Emch.
