Lucrezia (Serra) Fazio, 87, passed away February 3, 2013. Family will receive friends at Tonini Funeral Home, 2135 SW 9th Street, Thursday, February 7, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:30. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Lucrezia began her career sewing for Rollins Hosiery Mill in Des Moines, and retired from the state of Iowa with the Department of Transportation. She enjoyed her grandchildren and cooking for her family. She also appreciated the company of her dogs. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the St. Anthony Rosary and Altar Society. Lucrezia is survived by her husband of 67 years, Frank Fazio; sons, Frank (Marcene) Fazio, Leonard (Julie Wilson) Fazio and Chuck (Kimm) Fazio; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; siblings, Dorothy Pugliese, Charles (Connie) Serra, and Rosemary (Peter) Acri. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Serra and Theresa Serra; and siblings, Frank Serra, Raymond Serra and Frances McNaney.
