Harvie H. Dunn passed away peacefully on August 31, 2013. Harvie was born on March 5, 1926 in Healdton, Oklahoma to John M. Dunn and Annie L. Wright Dunn.

He was raised in Sayre, Oklahoma where he graduated from Sayre High School with the class of 1944.

Upon completion of high school Harvie enlisted with the United States Army Air Force. During WWII he served overseas with the 133rd Army Airways Communication Systems, Squadron, 763rd Army Air Force Base Unit stationed in France and Germany.

After serving in the military Harvie moved to Washington state where he worked as a car salesman for several years before opening Dunn Motor Co. in Union Gap, Washington.

He is survived by his sister Glenna Hartman of Sayre, Oklahoma, his daughter Karen Garcia (husband, Pompello) of Umatilla, Oregon, son Jeff Dunn (wife, Pam) of Kennewick, Washington; seven grandchildren, Devin, Maria, David, Jamie, Chris, Michael, and Darcy, and five great grandchildren.

Harvie is preceded in death by his father John, mother Annie, brothers Emmitt, Marvie and Vance, sisters Gladys and Georgia, his wife Lorella, daughter Darcey Scott and grandson Dustin Scott.

Graveside services for Harvie will be held Friday, September 13, 2013 at 10:00 AM in Sayre, Oklahoma at Sayre Doxy Cemetery.
