Camille Rose Stroik age 48, of Amherst Jct. passed away after an extended illness at her home surrounded by her loving family.
A Celebration of Life service for Camille will be held on Monday September 2, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Shuda Funeral Chapel in Stevens Point. Friends and family will gather to share memories from 10:00 AM Monday until the time of services at the funeral chapel.
Camille was born October 2, 1964 in Stevens Point, the daughter of Clarence C. and Maurita (Maslowski) Stroik. She graduated from SPASH in 1983 and continued her schooling in Appleton and became a travel agent, in the Appleton area. She returned to Stevens Point and before her illness worked as a dental assistant for Cooper Dental for 17 years. Camille enjoyed gardening, cooking, crafts, feeding birds, and most of all planning and spending time with family.
Camille is survived by her soulmate: Mike Blanke, Amherst Jct. Her two daughters: Abigail (Casey Fischer) Peltier, Amherst Jct. and Emily (Jim) Blanke Amherst. Her mother: Maurita Stroik, Stevens Point. She was a Nana to: Hunter, Lucas, Madeline, Camille Rose, and Hailey. 1 brother and 5 sisters: Laurie (Roman) Wierzba, Waukesha; Melanie (Kenneth) Tschudy, Junction City; Faye (Larry) Cronce, Mukwonago; Julie (Joe) Zakrzewski, Bancroft; Brenda (Gary) Post, Milwaukee; Bruce (Karol) Stroik, Rosendale. She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Clifford.
