Mrs. Anna Alene C. Bennion, 44, 2027 Wilmington Ave., (2200 South), died Saturday, 2:30am., in a Salt Lake hospital after a long illness. Born Aug. 22, 1915, Mt. Pleasant, Sanpete County, to Christian and Henrietta Fredricksen Christiansen, married Clarence R. Bennion June 14, 1939. Active member, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Helped organize Girl Scouts of America troop in Bingham. Survivors: husband; son, C. Craig, Salt Lake City, two sisters. Funeral Monday noon, 260 E. South Temple, where friends may call Sunday 6-8p.m., Monday prior. Burial, Wasatch lawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
